Reed's T4 (TOPCIMA) Case Study courses
So how are you going to put all the information on this site to full use! Well one way is to attend one of our courses! Our  tutors willl walk you carefully through his suggested approach to the exam (including a number of extras not on this website reserved for course participants!). You'll work through the pre-seen material, undertake a number of exercises to help your exam technique, and crucially get you taking full practise exams with clear debriefs, and detailed feedback on your script. In the section below you'll find details of the courses being run for the forthcoming exams.

Your Tutors

Nick Best
Nick qualified as a Chartered Accountant back in 1995 with what is now PricewaterhouseCoopers. In total he spent over 6 years at PwC in roles as a training consultant, marketing superviser and auditor. In 1997 he joined BPP as a tutor and spent 4 years with them. He now undertakes a range of corporate training courses as well as continuing to tutor towards CIMA, ACCA and ICAEW exams. Nick  specialises in Management, Strategy and IT related subjects, and more specifically in exam technique and approach on which he writes a monthly column for PQ magazine. He also writes regularly in PASS magazine, including an analysis of each TOPCIMA Case study pre-seen scenario. He is co-author of CIMA's P5 revision kit, the author of CIMAs official Learning System for the TOPCIMA Case Study exam, working in cunjunction with one of the  examiners.

Ross Mackinnon
Ross studied law at the University of Edinburgh before pursuing a career in accountancy, training as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte & Touche LLP in CityplaceReading.

Ross began his training career with Kaplan Financial, delivering both
practical and exam-focused training to accountants from the Big Four firms and finance professionals from multinational corporate clients.

Ross has taught this exam since January 2008 and also teaches final level papers across ACCA, CIMA and ICAEW with particular specialism in financial strategy, law and audit.
